OUC celebrating 100th anniversary this week

OUC, the Orlando Utility Commission, is celebrating a century of providing power and water service this week with a special ceremony at City Hall.

At 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 26, OUC will host a special event with a proclamation by Orlando Mayor Dyer to celebrate the first-ever OUC Board of Commissioners meeting, which took place 100 years ago, on June 25, 1923. OUC General Manager and CEO, Clint Bullock, and OUC Commission President, Britta Gross, will also speak.
